Hi !!!

We are having a problem with installing RH 4.0 on one of our new machines.
Basically the machine hangs when creating swapspace.
The syslog gives the following error:

aic7xxx (abort) Aborting scb0, TCL 0/0/0
SCSI: aborting command due to timeout: pid 379, scsi 0, chanel 0, id 0,
        lun 0, 0x 28 00 00 5b 51 ca 00 00 78 00
aic7xxx (abort) Aborting scb0, TCL 0/0/0
SCSI: aborting command due to timeout: pid 379, scsi 0, chanel 0, id 0,
        lun 0, 0x 28 00 00 5b 51 ca 00 00 78 00
SCSI host 0 abort (pid 379) timed out - resetting
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 chanel 0
reset target/chanel 0/0
(abort_scb) asserted ATN - bus device reset in message buffer
SCSI host 0 chanel 0 reset (pid 379) timed out - trying harder
bus is being reset for host 0
aic7xxx: (reset) target/chanel 0/0
SCSI host 0 reset (pid 379) timed out again
probably an unrecoverable SCSI bus or device hang

I checked termination and it seems to be OK.

Any Idea what this can be?

Ciao,
	Martin
