I upgraded from 3.0.3 to 4.0 via CD over the weekend and
it went quite well. Way to go RedHat! After replacing
my config files and a bit of miscellaneous tweaking
everything was back like I wanted it. A couple minor
items:

-I usually run jmacs in an rxvt. Under 4.0 I got:

Processing '/usr/lib/joe/jmacsrc'...done
Sorry, your terminal can't do absolute cursor positioning.
It's broken

The rxvt in contrib works OK so I installed this.

-I had to remove a few old rpms by hand after the upgrade.
It usually turned out that the contents of these packages were
found in other rpms in 4.0.

-After verifying the system, I found a few things belonging
to more than one rpm. No big deal. Examples below (I don't
have the whole dis. installed):

rpm -qf /usr/X11R6/bin/xload
X11R6-contrib-3.1.2-6
procps-X11-1.01-7

rpm -qf /usr/include/rpcsvc/rquota.h
libc-devel-5.3.12-8
quota-1.51-3

rpm -qf /usr/man/man5/fstab.5
man-pages-1.12-1
mount-2.5l-1

All in all I'm very pleased with the 4.0 upgrade. Keep up
the good work.
