esm is an Encrypted Session Manager that is part of the Cryptographic
File Sytem package (cfs-1.3.3-2.i386.rpm) that is available from Replay's
Red Hat Crypto home page. (http:/www/replay.com/redhat/). This program
allows encrypted communications over a network to protect privacy on
passwords and other session information. I was working with Red Hat 3.0.3,
and it was also working with Red Hat 4.0 until I installed the latest updates.

There are about 32 pty devices in /dev, and almost all of them are free.
Can anyone tell me what else the out of pty's message might mean. Is there
same security configuration that needs to recognize esm?

Thanks,
Dave
