These are pretty minor, but I can't figure out what's causing them.
Both are while booting. I've compiled my own 2.0.23 kernel.

1. Right before it enters runlevel three, it says "cat: /proc/scsi/scsi no
such file or directory". I have no scsi hard drives or devices. Why does
it tell me this?

2. Right after it enters runlevel three, it has 8-10 lines of:

<current date & time> modeprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4

It alternates between saying net-pf-4 and net-pf-5. It repeats 4-5 times
for each.

What is net-pf? Is it a module compiled in my kernel? I'm pretty sure
the only thing I have compiled as a module is the dummy net driver
support. I did do a make modules & make modules_install. Any ideas?

Other than that, and some goofs on my part (accidently upgrading rpms of
programs that I had recompiled myself) it went pretty smooth. I also
moved up to larger hard drives in the process. Linux does run
faster/smoother when the drives are ~35% full compared to ~95%!

Thanks, Andy
