Have you ever needed service from Quantum?  I just had a 1G Quantum SCSI
die and
they totally suck when it comes to support.  I found out that the 3 year
warranty
that they advertise doesn't apply to my drive because it was OEM, they
won't swap
me a drive so I would have to wait 3 weeks(!) to get a refurbished drive
which
they would charge $130 for.  I'm not ever spending another penny on
Quantum.  
Next time I think I'll buy a Seagate.
