I am trying to load linux on a partition on a sony vaio 505 ultra lite
laptop. It loaded only by using the backpack cdrom player and not the sony
one that came along. My problems include pmcia support, xwindows drivers
and wondering if anyone has it working for them. Startx fails and tells me
there is an error. What type of mouse does one use if you have the touchpad
type? I think my problem lies in the video too so anyone with a startx
config available for this machine could they mail it to me. Where is the
pcmcia boot disk with 5.2?
