I upgraded to sysklogd-1.3-26 (RH 5.1) when it was released a few weeks
back and after doing so, noticed the following in the /var/log/messages:
... inetd[23403]: execv /usr/sbin/in.identd: No such file or directory
Sure enough there is now no /usr/sbin/in.identd file and the log entries
that it generated seem to have disappeared.
Anybody know what became of identd?
Thanks.
Rick.
