Not sure if this is needed behind a proxy, but...

Have you tried setting the connections to passive? I needed to do that with
IP masquerading at least. I know ncftp has a setting for that. Check its
help.

Has anyone had success getting through an MS proxy, using SOCKS or not?

I had no luck getting the install or NcFTP to work thourgh the firewall.

I understand it isn't a totally standard proxy, so I wonder if it tends

to block non-MS OS's?
