Their web page says:
"Red Hat Linux Variety Pack, formerly packaged with the
Power Tools, is the complete Red Hat Linux version 5.2 for
the Intel, Alpha, and SPARC platforms. However, you're on
your own with this distribution--no manuals, support, or
handholding are included."
That tells me the install CD is the same as in the
regular RH5.2. It would be a shame to miss out on the
book though. There are major changes from 4.2, and
the book is valuable for anyone newbie or guru in my
opinion.
