I have been using 4.5 since about the time it first came available. I
like it, as far as HUGE netscapes go. It is mostly stable...SOMETIMES,
and for no apparent reason, I find that the thing just dies and goes
away. There is no zombie...and no lock file is generated. I just
restart netscape on these rather rare ocassions and keep going.

I also find an annoying tendency for by inbox screen to blank
out...usually after I empty the local trash. To get it back I click on
any of the other folders (sent, outbox, trash, etc) and then select inbox
again - and my mail is back. Other than that, I prefer it over the other
previous incarnations I have used (4.05, 4.06, 4.07).
