Dunno. At my old Workplace, a 486DX2-66MHz Machine with 32MB Ram was
serving 20 Workstations (NFS/NIS) for about 4000 registered Users. By now,
the server got powered up a little making it a iP166MHz MMX System with
128MB Ram, serving 72 Machines on this Subnet and managing about 10000
Users. So you still have a lot of power remaining...
Only Problem where it could become tight is the pop-daemon. It loads all
Mails in Ram before uploading them. So you better stick to an alternate
popper as the standard from imap-package.
