No need to recompile. I have it working (required using ipfwadm filters).
I was setting up the entire operation using the step wise method.
ppp --> diald --> IP Masq --> firewall
However, the last two steps must be performed in conjunction.

I was under the assumption that ip packet forwarding was enough to take
care of the forwarding. (This is with properly setup routes, etc.)
