I'm currently having a problem with a Redhat v5.1 system that locks up
intermittantly, stops sending packets out of the ppp0 connection, if I take
the ppp connection down and re-establish the connection then everything
works for awhile. I've had this problem on two different machines, but
with similiar internal USR Courier I-modem pcb's.

I have a small local network that I Ip-masq for that seems to work fine.

Will the ISDN4K-utils package and the ISDN4NET package help this only or
are they setup to handle a different brand (set) of modems.???
When I looked at the packages I didn't see a mode selection for USR?

thanks
