# Anyone know of a tool (command line or GUI) that will convert RGB

# Or is there a tool on the gimp that does this that I'm missing.

As a matter of fact, I just discovered at www.gtk.org a program called
gyroscope that will give you the hex value for a given RGB color. I
haven't even compiled it yet, so I don't know how it works, but there's
a link from gtk.org to the homepage for it (and screenshots there, too).
