Thanks Ron
From reading under /usr/src/linux/Documentation/, I figured as much - it
appears the tulip module is called de4x5.o, but I don't seem to have an
equivalent _cs version for pcmcia.
I'm really confused here. Can you only use modules under
/lib/modules/<kernel#>/pcmcia for pcmcia cards, or could I use the one under
/lib/modules/<kernel#>/net ?
I tried to load the net version and got the following error.
/lib/modules/2.0.35/net/de4x5.o; init_module: Device or resource busy.
Also something I find strange is than on botup, my cardbus is identified as
1131, but if I run /usr/src/linux/pcmcia-cs-3.0.0/cardmgr/probe, it is
identified as a TI PCI 1250 (like my documentation)
pcmcia seems to work fine except for not being able to identify my card, and
I get the following errors on bootup after compiling my own kernel and
modules (and pcmcia of course)
modprobe: can't locate module net-pf-10
anyone got any solutions to these?
thanks
charles
