You guys are missing a few things up :

1) You have normal PPP. This requires PPP to be compile in. Works the same
way as a modem does. Be sure to read the manual, as you will need some
special AT commando's

2) IPPPD. This requires the ISDN PPP to be compiled in. This IS DIFFRENT
from 'normal' PPP.

My suggestion : Use ipppd. Works fast, is easy to set up. No need for big
scripts, etc. You only need one kernel-recompile.

Because this is a special modem. You NEED to give some special
modem-command, or it wil fail.
