I am considering moving from Windows to Linux. (Mostly because of repeated
reinstalls of Windows, etc.) However, only one of our systems here has a
CD-ROM drive. I have been told that it is possible to make up disks for
the basic system, and install from that.
Question: Is it possible to install across PLIP, if I can get a basic
system installed? And how would I go about setting this up? (Not to
mention, how would I go about making up the basic system disks?)
I'm going with RH51 because the bugs in that are known, and fixes are
available. This comes with a book, 'Using Linux', along with Caldera
OpenLinux & SmartSuite (or StarOffice, can't remember which one)...
