Thanks.  Of course, you guys are right that it's easy to just type
"rpm -ivh <package>"; I was mainly thinking that glint looks like a
good way to see what you have on hand.  I don't have a drive space
problem just now (I bought a new drive so that I could install Linux),
but I got the impression that a user might choose to keep seldom used
packages as rpm's except when they're needed.
