I didn't realize there was a commercial version of KDE available!

Anyway, I used KDE for awhile (too much resource loading for me) and
had no problems configuring things from the dekstop for the most part.
I had to edit a couple of files by hand to fix bugs. And some things
users can't change and must be changed by root. Otherwise I made it the
way I wanted it, except I couldn't get the load down sufficiently.

I've seen config tools being released on freshmeat for windowmaker so I
presume they're trying to get graphical configuration tools going for
that.

I personally started using a cross between xfce and kde. Much less load
and some of the better tools work just fine. Easy to configure, too.
