Linuxconf has a PPP/SLIP/PLIP selection for starters which
looks quite straightforward.
PLIP is also one of the supported installation methods, so it should be in
the
RH Install Guide that is in the box, on www.redhat.com, on the
CD, and on the ftp site along with the rest of the files for the CD.
To install via PLIP, you must load the Supplementary floppy, as
directed by the install boot floppy. PLIP then shows up in the
list of network devices.
