Hi -- Anyone know if pcnet_cs.o works ok on 100bT media with a Linksys
card?

I resolved my 1st pcmcia problem by learning that the Versa M has a weird
power-up mode with the pcmcia diabled. Another couple hours to find the
undocumented bios hotkey & I was able to turn it on.

Now the install program will find the pcmcia ok, and load pcnet_cs.o.

It returns several errors, such as

fopen(stabfile) failed: No such file or directory

network: /sbin/ifup: not found

Are these normal?

After this, the card shows link state, but the hub doesn't. NFS
fails, as does ping.

So I'm wondering if there's a media problem. I've swapped cables &
used a port on the hub i know to be good.

b.c.
