I don't want to set a filter to trash the off topic posts, but I do like them
tagged to give me a hint that they might be off-topic.  I generally will still
glance at the rest of the subject to see if I might be interested.

So, for me, the variety of tags is acceptable, as long as they are
regognizable.  "Off" "OT" and "Off Topic" are pretty understandable, but I
wouldn't immediately guess what "TID" or "TIOT" mean...

Just my $0.02...
