I want to connect two Linux boxes via the serial ports. I have
the necessary cable, but when I read the appropriate HOWTO's
I get stuck. I am told to use "slattach" (in /sbin/slattach),
there is no such file on my RedHat distributions, 4.2, 5.1,
and 5.2 for i386. So, what do I do?
I want to upgrade my 5.1 at home without file transfering via modem,
by first transfering the distribution to my portable via a fast
Ethernet connection, and second, transfer files from my portable
to the home computer via the serial ports.
