Sorry to hear all of your WordPerfect woes.
Can't say i've had the same experience.
The only problems i've come accross are *very* minor.
For example, i can't print an envelope correctly.
(And i'm pretty demanding: i use a lot of advanced features,
customize my keyboard, program macros, etc.)
I only lament that a few features present in the Windows
version are missing, such as easy input of extended characters
using Ctrl-w. I do enough work in French, Spanish, Esperanto,
and other languages that make this something of a pain. Oh yeah,
and the mouseless selection i was asking about.

Hope that StarOffice works out better for you.
