You may request this as much as you like. I'm afraid though if you
request in a demanding tone you may experience more resistance than
acceptance.

I disagree that different tags are more annoying than no tags at all. I
recognize if someone puts an <OT> or an <OFF> or <TIOT> in their message,
I then process it like all messages in the list and read it if it looks
interesting and delete it if it doesn't.

I started using Linux because I was tired of being told how I was going
to use my computer.
