I am a fairly new user of Linux, and I am not sure how to look this up in
the man pages.
Here is what I want to do:
I have my current home computer setup to dual-boot to Linux and Win95 and I
have a old 486DX33 (sans monitor) which I would like to run Linux as a
printer server. I currently have a HP LaserJet 4L and will be buying a
color printer in the near future.
I would like to use the 486 as mentioned above and be accessible from both
Linux and Win95 on my main computer.
Can I do this with out having a monitor attached to the 486? I plan on
connecting my current monitor to the 486 during setup.
Can I do this without installing X?
Any help or pointers to the proper documentation appreciated.
I'm using RH 5.1
Thanks in advance,
Kent
