Hi,
I am also not able to get Midnight Commander(tkmc) to work. On typing tkmc
on the xterm we get the message " error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libtcl.so undefined symbol stat". Are you also getting the same
error message ?.Also downgrading tkmc to the ver in 5.1 doesn't work too.
Gives the same error msg. So i guess the problem has to be with libtcl.so.

Vivek
