You might want to do 
  rpm -ivh
because the 'v' option gives you a bit more detail.  Beyond that, I'd
say you might have a corrupt RPM, you might have already installed that
one, or you might be experiencing what I call "RPM Madness" (like Space
Madness), wherein you do everything correctly and RPM does a lot of
weird stuff that shouldn't happen.  You could try --force(ing) it, or
--nodeps(ing) it as well.
