I =think= I enabled PAP, but don't you need something called "secret"
for that? I have no idea what that would be; it certainly isn't used
in Windows NT/W9x.
I checked resolv.conf, and it was missing the first line. I added
that, but usernet gave me the same behavior: I get a CD, but the RD
and SD lights don't blink. My modem hangs up fairly quickly after
getting the CD; maybe it's not waiting long enough... don't know where
to change that.
