Try this:
Edit "/etc/XF86Config"(you have to be user "root") and search for:
Section "devices"
Identifier ......
VendorName .,......
BoardName ........
Insert the following two lines below:
ChipId 0x4754
ChipRev 0x01
Some versions of the Mach64 driver haven't been updated for some of the the
newer ATI cards.
