printer question

I have linux printing to a smb shared printer off of an NT box. Works
great for gimp and for command line stuff but not for netscape. The
printer is an HP870cxi printer. When I attemp to print in netscape the
following error is printed:
-r must be followed by <res> or <xres>x<yres>
I set up the printer using print_tool and selected the hp 550 to 6xxx
driver/filter. I tried passing a -r 300 string to GS, but that had no effect.
Anyone have exp. with such a problem? I would like to be able to print
from Netscape (for email)
