Couple problems with RH 5.2

Hi
I recently performed a new install with Red Hat 5.2 and noticed a couple
problems already. My previous 5.1 worked flawlessly so I wanted to try
5.2 to have the latest release.
My swap file does not appear to be working. A message during boot up
says something about SWAPON is not supported by the drive.
Also, Midnight Commander does not work.
My Netscape 4.07 has locked up 3 times now which I am wondering has
something to do with the swap file. I had to hit the reset button to get
a new login. My previous RH 5.1 never froze up once.
I sent this message once to this list also from Netscape Mail and did
not see it routed to the list.
Has anyone else had the same problems as me?
