Hi,

I installed Windows 98 on a primary IDE drive. Once it was running, I
made this drive the secondary, while leaving the primary my Linux+NT
installation, having this configuration:

Primary IDE drive: NT+Linux
Secondary IDE drive: Windows 98

I boot my computer using the NT Loader and configured lilo as explained
in the Linux+NT-Loader mini HOWTO.

I've added to the /etc/lilo.conf file an entry for botting Linux
(image=...) and an entry for booting Win98 (other=...).

When I run

lilo -t

it complains saying:

Warning: BIOS drive 0x82 may not be accessible

(or something like that)

In the User-Manual.ps for lilo I read that lilo writes this warning
because some old bioses cannot access secondary HD or floppy drives.

My BIOS does see them, so there shouldn't be any problem.

Anyway, I ran lilo, copied the boot sector so that the NT loader can
boot LILO.
Linux boots Ok, but when I select to boot Win98, the lilo loader
complains:

Error 0x01

Just that.
Any comments?

I tried writing the following lines in the other=... section of
lilo.conf

other=/dev/hdd
	label=win
	loader=/boot/chain.b
	map-drive=0x82
	  to=0x80
	map-drive=0x80
	  to=0x82

But, lilo -t displays the same warning, and the Error 0x01 still shows
up.

Thanx in advance,

Leo
