I've installed linux on a bootable zip disk, so you shouldn't have any
problems.
a few pointers though:
- if you can't boot to the syquest you'll probably want to use a boot
floppy.
- the system might go pretty slow, especially if it needs a swap partition
on the syquest. since you have 64M you might get away without using a
swap partition at all if you're not planning to run X.
