No, you misunderstood me. The idea was to substitute a serial
port card for the Winmodem. The gentleman that posed the question
said he was out of IRQ's and could not use a serial card.
I told him, basically, to find out what IRQ the winmodem uses,
then yank out the winmodem and put in a serial card configured
to use the same IRQ.
THEN...use an *external* modem attached to said card.
