About xmenuconfig: it was difficult, but now it's a beauty.
X,network,CD not working? Easy. Always have a working
boot option for the RedHat kernel RPM's kernel, and have
it working from a floppy also.
Whenever *your* kernel traps you in the corner,
boot the RedHat kernel so basic things work, like X :-)
so you can fix on your kernel in style.
