I like screen myself. It lets you cut and paste without a mouse. ^a-[ puts
you into copy mode, you can move around with the screen with the h,j,k,l
keys (arrow keys don't seem to work with RH's screen package) select the
beginning and end of the text to copy and ^a-] will paste it into another
screen.
