I think of Samuel Johnson: 'When a man is tired of London, he is 
tired of life'.

It's my belief that anyone tired of service has no business in 
computing, even as a user.

Call it whatever you like -- service, preventive maintenance, 
defensive driving, knowing what you're doing.  It's inherent in 
Linux/Unix.
