WindowMaker and RH5.2 Q

I know this is off topic, but I was hoping that someone might be able to
explain a problem I have with WindowMaker and rh5.2.
When I try and install WindowMaker (the RPM as root) I get the following
error:
rpm -ivh WindowMaker-0.20.1-3.rhl5.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
/lib/cpp is needed by WindowMaker-0.20.1-3.rhl5
Checking the WindowMaker archives I came up with one suggestion. That
was to link /lib/cpp to /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.7.2.3/cpp
The link looks fine but I still have the problem. Any suggestions?
