I tried both formats and both failed. Looking at the install log I can see the 
cd-rom being mounted at node 23 but it fails on the 'Calling mount(...)' 
statement. Incidentally, parameter 4 is a large negative number 
(-1058209791), always trouble in my experience! The autoprobe option also 
fails.
