Please give us the output of pnpdump, and
setserial /dev/cua0
...
setserial /dev/cua3
cat /proc/interrupts
cat /proc/ioports
www.mot.com says that modem is PnP only, and no
drivers are available for OS/2 or NT or Unix.
So getting it working with Linux is not guaranteed
unless it happens to be on the www.redhat.com supported
hardware list.
