I have a p166 with one harddrive for Win95 and one for Linux. I
installed RedHat 5.0 and 5.1 on the Linux drive from installation files on
the Windows drive.

1) I can't install 5.2 from the Windows drive.

2) I can't get to the Linux drive at all.

I can't install from the Windows drive because I either get "CAN'T
OPEN DIRECTORY" or "There does not appear to be a RedHat directory tree on
/dev/hda1". The first message was the message I originally got when I put
in the correct path: "/". I then tried moving everything out of the
RedHat directory tree, removing the tree, and recreating the tree by
mounting /dev/hda1 during the RedHat install using alt-F2. I made a
mountpoint directory, mounted the Windows disk, and used mkdir to recreate
the tree. Then in Windows I moved the files to the newly Linux-created
directories. Since I did that, I only get the second message, "There does
not appear to be a RedHat directory tree on /dev/hda1."

I can't get to the linux drive because the power supply built-in
to my pc failed. The power supply failure had a strange effect: it
seemed to wipe my hard disks clean. I could not boot into Windows or
Linux. I couldn't boot into Linux using either a rescue diskette or the
diskette I had been using too boot normally. I'd get "Can't Open
Console."

	Please help!

	Thanks
