The ext2-algorythme keeps the Files mostly unfragmented, if Filesystem
usage is below 90%. This works very well. In fact, in the 5 Years LiNUX
Experience I have, I never defragmented a ext2 Partition... But I know a
defragmenter exists for the ext2 FileSystem. just make a search on
freshmeat. I don´t remember the name though.
