My solution to this problem is sending anything with a ! or the word
free in the subject line to /dev/null. I also block to/from "friend",
and "nobody". This is after all the recipes for my mailing lists.
Those I distribute using the X-Loop header line. Everything else goes
to a junk folder where I can decide what to do with it. I'm not
troubled much by spam.
