Perhaps my intent was mistaken here, or I just missed something.
I've checked the latest linuxconf, and it doesn't seem to have the
capacity for dialup server configuration. It has client config, yes, but
not server. What I was wanting to do is enable PAP authentication on a
server that already serves modems. It's just annoying to have to login and
type ppp every time you want to connect.
