I seem to be forgeting everything. My brain must be decomposing now that I
am a father.

For the past year I have had a CDROM server on my network running RH 4.1.
All users were able to access the disks via samba. The hard drive in the
box died a slow death and I came by a nice hand me down system to resurect
the CDROM server with. So I install 5.1, set up samba and stuff the box
full of 6 CDs. No big deal. But you can not access any of the shares.
The users see the box in the network neighborhood thing and can click on
it, but it prompts them for a password. What has changed that I am
missing? Each share is set up right (browseable = yes, public = yes).
Absent removing the rpm and installing a 5.0 rpm, I don't know what to do.
