Yes, the name of the game is productivity.  Linux has more potential and at=
 lower cost than any other OS, bar none, but it won't fly for the average=
 user unless it can get more done, more easily, in less time and at lower=
 cost than Windows.  Now, I don't doubt that *nix mavens are talented=
 people, much more so than the average shopper in Future Shop or Circuit=
 City, but we have to make it easier to compute for everyone, else we're=
 just a voice crying in the wilderness with no one following.  It isn't=
 right to bitch about Gates & Co., however big and heartless they may be.=
  We're pro's and pro's don't bitch about it, they just do it!  

Let's work together to produce at least ONE form of common interface the=
 average user can be productive with, leaving in the customizing features=
 we have come to know and love, so that Microsoft can start bitching about=
 US!  Then, we've done something to be proud of.

Remember our motto:  "In a world without walls or fences, what need do we=
 have for Windows or Gates?
