hello y'all
i recently did an upgrade of red hat 5.1 up from 5.0 and am having a problem
with the package manager, glint, with the 5.1 version.
i was wondering if anyone else experienced this problem and how it could be
corrected
basically when i ask glint to find available packages...it seems to start
checking the cd ROM and then stops and hangs.
yes, the cd is in the drive and yes it is mounted correctly. and i double
checked the paths to the packages (just in case )
and its still set to the defaults (which is the correct path).
so i am at a point where i believe i can remove packages but cannot add any.
good thing i installed almost everything i needed huh?
thanks in advance.
