The standard apporach is to let Linux boot into runlevel 5 (I think that's
described in some FAQ), but that would start X for all users. At home, I
decided to simply add "startx" at the end of my girlfriend's .login file
(tcsh), so her account comes up in X, whereas mine and root's don't.
