I had this problem once, with the exact same error message, but a
different rpm. It might seem obvious, but the problem was that the rpm 
file was corrupted during the download (as well as all the rpms I had 
downloaded after the corrupted one). Try downloading just that rpm again 
from your favorite RedHat mirror and then try installing it again. At
least that way you'll know if it's just the RPM. I think I remember you
saying you had downloaded it.

Usually if there's a conflict or something else, it will tell you, so it's
not that.
